- ItemThe Poetics of Neobaroque Space: Theory and Application(2018-09-24) Rusiłowicz, KamilThe dissertation is devoted to the “return of the baroque” in contemporary culture. The goal of the study is to present an interdisciplinary approach to the poetics of neobaroque space. The first part of the dissertation provides a theoretical tool that may be applied to literary criticism. The second, analytical part of the dissertation analyses two American novels, Jeffrey Eugenides’ The Virgin Suicides and Marilynne Robinson’s Housekeeping using the theoretical approach presented in the theoretical part.
